The new Shelly Bypass R2 version is an updated accessory from Shelly which works together with Shelly 1L single-live-wire WiFi smart relay, and Shelly Dimmer 2 single-live-wire WiFi Smart dimmer relay. Use of Shelly Bypass is only required if those live-only relays are used, especially when they control small power consumption lights (such as LED lights).
